[SOLVED] can't delete a test case version

When asking to delete a specific test case version, I would expect to be asked for a confirmation
I receive instead a blank frame on the right and the deletion cannot be completed

Version is 1.9.3

I want to delete a specific version of a test case. I have seen on the online demo that when you select "Delete this version" appears a question and a button to be pressed to confirm the decision of deleting a test case version.
In my case, instead, this question and the button do not appear.
For your info I have attached a screenshot obtained from the events log

Everything was already provided:
3.1 TL is 1.9.3
3.2 detailed steps is when you try to delete a specific TC version, you expect a question pops up asking for a confirmation
3.3 actual result is that the frame where the question should appear (together with 2 buttons one for confirmation, another to cancel) is empty

What do you intend when you say it could be related to javascript ? From the same browser (Firefox) I have tried the same on another TL instance (version is 1.9.2) and it works perfectly.

If the forum is not for issues posting, where could I get some support ?

for issues the tracker (mantis) need to be used.

detailed steps are noy what you are providing but something like

1. login as user admin
2. select a test project
3. go to test spec
4. create a test case
5. create a new test case version
6. select new created version and try to delete.
7. blank page is displayed.

And when we ask you detaisl, try to just provide details instead of saying ' ... you already have all info ..'
I have talk about javascript because delete confirmation is managed via EXT-JS .

Check on mantis to see if this issue has been reported, if not report it
When doing search on mantis remove all filters regarding ISSUE STATUS

Found another issue (0004650) that is exactly the same pb.
understood it was a problem, fixed with 1.9.4 (2011 Q4). Is it already available ?

1.9.4 has not been released and still there is no release date
anyway using code from gitoriuos (links on issue 0004650) you can patch your installation

as I also face this issue in TL 1.9.3 I'd like to have a look at the bug(s) in mantis.
I have requested an account but I did not receive an email as proposed by the bugtracker.
Isn't it automated?

try to create a new user with a valid email account.
did you try to ask for a password reset, in order to understand if mantis recognize your user ?
