Deleting multiple Test Cases?

I found you can remove multiple cases, but I need to Delete multiple test cases.

Our companies testlink is a mess. So I have been assigned the task of cleanup and there are several categories that have things such as 10 cases that should be 2. I modify one of the cases or create a new "condensed" case for these, but then I have to delete the other 8 one at a time which has become very tedious.

Please tell me there is a way to do a multiple delete...

How are you deleting those now, through a mysql command prompt, or at a specific sceen?

I was going to the test specification screen and clicking the delete button.

Sorry to take so long getting back to this...

Doing the category cleanup as you mentioned in your first post, it might be easier to just delete the category (which should also delete all the old associated testcases, results, and bugs), and then re-create the category [at the component level], and add new testcase(s) back to the category.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing with some of the categories.
